Applying to a transcribathon can be an exciting opportunity to delve into the world of automatic text transcription. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to help you apply:
1. Prepare Your Resume (CV):
- Make sure your resume is up-to-date and highlights any relevant experiences or skills in transcription, languages, or historical studies.
- Include any academic, professional, or volunteer experiences that demonstrate your attention to detail, persistence, and love for textual materials.
- Keep it short, faithful and don't spend too much time on it.
2. Identify Which Type of Bursary You Wish to Apply For
- ATRIUM Bursaries (Exclusive to members of European institutions): Includes transportation from anywhere in Europe, hotel accommodations, and meals.
- Biblissima+ Full Bursaries (Exclusive to members of French institutions): Covers transportation from anywhere in France, hotel accommodations, and meals.
- Biblissima+ Partial Bursaries (Exclusive to members of French institutions): Covers transportation from anywhere in France and meals.
- Biblissima+ Local Bursaries: Provides meals only.
3. Submit a response to the following Google Form: https://forms.gle/ZNGkxKV3qw5rXBuC9
⚠️ Please note: all those accepted undertake to attend the full three-day training course.
4. Submit Your Application:
- Create an Account on SciencesConf.org and log in to your account
- Go to "My submissions" and create a new submission.
- In the summary section, indicate your name, first name, e-mail address, status (doctoral student, engineer, researcher) and the type of bursary you are applying for.
- In the file section, submit your resume (CV) and any relevant documents you wish to share (such as small samples of things you want to work with).
